Light of Day 13 – 17th of January’16 in Asbury Park NJ / USA

No showing up of Springsteen…boeh….boeh…

That was the only thing missing during this fantastic Music Festival in Asbury Park …organized for the 16th time…to raise money for the battle against Parkinson Disease…

Asbury Park you say? Definitely not the place to go for a vacation, as a matter of fact you will be shocked when you see this town for the first time..

When Springsteen sings ” Baby this town rips the bones from your back”  you know exactly why…

But the place rocks like nothing else, a lot of great music comes from this place( Springsteen – Southside Johnny – Bon Jovi ) and the LOD festival presents mainly local bands both new and old.

Americana,Rock, Blues, Soul ..it’s all there.

The nice thing of this festival is that you meet up with music lovers from around the world. You meet the musicians as well, they really take time to have a chat with you.

And of course, you drink a few beers…you eat some Hamburgers…and you don’t get a lot sleep..but hell that is Rock and Roll!
